Description : It's big, long, hard, reddish on its end and will keep you on your toes - we all spent
two hours working on it and some of us even came back for more !

Misc. Author Info : "I started this project and made two parts in this map. The first one is the city bit where the
player starts, the neighboring toxic pond (without the lighting effects - those were added by
Will) with the destroyed building and the general surroundings. I was originally going for
something bigger and more epic but I hadn't mapped in a while and the two-hour limit took me
by surprise, and while I actually like the look of that section, I'm not really satisfied with
it because it's much smaller than I wanted it to be.
My second part is the forest / lake bit, after MetHy's section (the one with the wooden bridges
and all the Octabrains). Once again it's a bit rushed but I really like it nonetheless, I think
it looks beautiful with all the red and green colors and it has a rather unique feeling in my
                           humble opinion.
I also polished the map once everyone was done working on their part, adding most of the
ambient sounds, finetuning the gameplay and doing random extra fixes that took bloody
ages. But finally it's there for you to play. I'm rather stoked on the map because it was a
fun experience, and everyone involved put everything they could into it. Hopefully a lot of
players are going to enjoy playing it just as much as we liked making it." (Aymeric)
"I made 2 parts in this map, the second part, red city with explosions, and the ending.
                           Always bet on Duke." (William)
"My part, the first non-red part, consists of a reactor, a long hallway and a small outdoor
area with some toxic waste (the doors lead to Shawneth's part). It turned out pretty well,
kinda similar to what I did in "Suburban Hive", our previous 2-hour project." (Mikko)
"I have the worst part, but I am sort of new. So this text is probavly going to be worth
millions when I am rich and famous as a Duke Nukem Level designer." (Shawneth)
"Made a small forest park with a little pond in it. If you blink, you'll miss it." (Forge)
"My part starts when you see the hiden "Maar10" sign. I made the big spaceship outside,
and some rocks/hitech which is nearby it. Personally for me, it's actually a CBP part I'm
                           finally really satisfied with." (Maarten)
"I only built a small red base entrance and spent half my allocated time on it ; it would
have been nice to of done more but I'm glad I took part in anycase. Hopefully the next project
I'll be able to help and make a more significant impact on it." (James)
"My first CBP. I made the part with the road which leads you to the red keycard, just at the
right of Maarten´s part. It was very exciting to build a complete part only in two hours
without taking care on little details, especially in this kind of level. A very enjoyable
                           experience !" (Mike)
"I actually made 2 parts for this project.
The first one starts right after Shawneth's part and adds a loop to the map (you'll briefly
revisit an earlier location) to take you to Forge's fucking formidable forbidden forest.
This part isn't too special : some hi-tech locations and I've used the red theme to create
                           strong lightning.
The second one is a bit better : it's inside Maarten's big spaceship and, after yet another
red room, it takes you down into a dark, scary cave (now don't begin to cry dragon tears, as
we all know they'll turn into yellybeans!). I'm pretty proud of the big red crystal thingies,
they make the cave look huge. So do yourself a favour and look up!" (Merlijn)
"I'm too cool for forums and even though I built an awesome part, I'm not going to bother
writing anything in this txt file for you inferior beings to read. Ha !" (MetHy)
"I kept this project on hold for weeks for nothing since I didn't end up building anything on it
and just disappeared without a word. I suck !" (TimLowndes)

* Construction *

Base : New level from scratch.
Build Time : We were supposed to go at it for two hours each. Being all professional and shit, it goes without
saying that the map ended up taking four months to finish, and none of us even broke the original
rule. Efficiency and optimization at its best.
