Duke Nukem 3D .MAP Authoring Template v1.0 ================================================================ Title : Metro Filename : metro.map Author : Eric James Email Address : jamese@in.net (not for long!) Misc. Auth Info : Just your typical Duker, Quaker, puter freak Metallica fan Description : This is a challenging city level centered around the Metro Parking Garage. Duke simply wants to have dinner and see a movie. Unfortunately, as he drives to the top level of the garage, an alien shoots out his tire causing him to flip his truck on its side. Duke is thrown out, but uninjured. He is pissed, and ready to rid the city of the alien infestation. Hints For Play : If you want to win this level, you must explore. Look around everywhere for keys, switches, and powerups throughout the level. Unless you clip through walls, the map design takes you through just about every room in the level. You have to look everywhere! I hope you enjoy the challenging aspects of this level. Additional Credits to : Mike for playtesting. ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : E1M1 Single Player : Yes! Other: alt.binaries.games, alt.games.apogee, just about any game newsgroups. This is version 1.0. In it, I have added a different song, (in replacement of Enter Sandman) and have made VERY minor changes to the level to make it more esthetically appealing. Version 1.1, however, will have many new areas added. on to it look for this version sometime in the summer. I am VERY busy, but will try to get around to messing around with metro a bit. PERMISSIONS: Look, you can use some of the ideas I had in my level, but don't completely rip off of it. In my opinion, Duke levels are simply another form of art that require a large amount of creativity in their creation. Try to paint your own picture!
