RCPD.MAP is the original Map created in Build and compatible with Duke Nukem 1.4 & 1.5

RCPD2.map is an updated Map modified in Mapster to make use of TROR. - Only use EDUKE32 to play this map. This map is not backwards compatible.

Description : Duke jumps over the perimeter fence at the Redcliff Police Department, only to find out it has been over taken by Aliens! Duke’s objective is to safely find a way into the Police station, equip himself in the Armory and and locate the service access door which will lead Duke to the roof of the Police station where he will be rescued by air support. Things never go as planned, but nothing ever stands in the way of Duke.
Additional Credits: I would like to mention that the 3 tiered elevator was taken from Semi-Charm's Elevator Example map EX5ML3.MAP. There was no way I could have been able to build this elevator system. I did spend a lot of time trying, but it was just too complicated so I have revamped my entire map to ensure this elevator system would work here. So special thanks to the mastermind Semi charm for this very cool elevator system.

Known Bugs/Problems :

1) Calling the 3 tiered elevator system can occasionally fail. In this case if you wait 5 seconds before pressing the call button again it usually corrects itself.

2) The two front windows of the RCPD building when open and using the original Duke Nukem game cause sector glitches because of the second story overlapping. This could have been addressed by using 1 sided walls instead of transparent window masks. However, it works just fine with the latest EDUKE so i'm leaving it as I feel it provides for a better gameplay experience.

3) The "New Enemy" can occasionally jump through the ceiling to the level above.

4) The Elevator Shaft in RCPD can some times teleport you into an endless shaft. This has been corrected with RCPD2.map using TROR by elminating the need to teleport. It looks a hell of a lot better too! =)

This map was built with multi-player Co-op in mind. The game play changes when more players join!

Special thanks to Brad L. for helping me play test this map for bugs. Also thanks goes to Mikko Sandt of http://msdn.duke4.net for assisting me with texturing and trimming pointers and pointing out all my mistakes =). Your time was very much appreciated and anyone else who has played this map, commented or reviewed it.

I would like to thank the people at http://dukerepository.com/ for hosting my map. Thanks again for your support!

RCPD2.map would not have been possible without the help of Helixhorned over at http://www.eduke32.com/. It was with his help that made RCPD2.map possible. Couldn't have done it without you. Thanks a million!
